The rules for posting yard signs inside the city of Gaithersburg are different than outside. The following links will show you the appropriate map:
Small Map (840K) - For dial-up users
Large Detailed Map (3 MB) - For broadband users or very patient dial-up users

The rules for the city of Gaithersburg are in this document.  Once you have loaded this document, use the "search" box in the upper left and type (or copy and paste) the term "sign Article IX".  Click on the "search" button and the first result displayed should read "Article IX. Signs". Click on this link and you should see the information.
